Meeting of The PAFCIC Online Board : Finalizing the PAFCIC Online web Site to promote continous Medical Education in Interventional Cardiology in our Area.
Meeting organised by THF on Saturday, December 21st, 2019 at the Sousse Palace Hotel to launch the “Tobacco Free Hospital” project.
Organization of an awareness day for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases’ risk factors at El Mostakbal primary school, Ezzouhour in Sousse.
It was organized by Tunisia Heart Foundation, the Department of Epidemiology at the Farhat Hached Hospital of Sousse and the Higher School of Health Sciences and Technology of Sousse .
In the program several workshops:
– Workshop to promote physical activity
– Workshop to prepare a healthy snack.
– Workshop on the food pyramid
– Workshop on improving self-esteem.
– Workshop with “Healthy Lifestyle” game
– Demonstrations of the harmful effects of soft drinks.
The Tunisian Heart Foundation celebrates on september the 29th, 2019 the World Heart Day with the slogan:

By signing the Sousse Declaration, 14 regional and international organizations including the World Heart Federation promised to advocate and take action at different levels to help the people of Africa live longer, better, and more heart-healthy lives.
The Sousse Declaration was the fruit of a highly successful meeting hosted by the African Heart Network (AHN) in collaboration with the Tunisian Heart Foundation on the 29 to 31 March in Sousse, Tunisia. His Excellence The Minister of Health of Tunisia, Mr Imed Hammami, as well as other high-profile stakeholders and civil society leaders from across the African region and beyond met for this joint symposium on the prevention of cardiovascular disease in Africa.
This pivotal meeting was endorsed by the World Heart Federation (WHF) and WHF President David Wood and CEO Jean-Luc Eiselé participated actively with presentations.
